Mandatory mask requirement starts June 26 at 5 pm

Gov. Roy Cooper announced that people are now required to wear face masks in public in NC and that the state's Phase 2 will continue for three more weeks as infection rates and the number of hospitalizations due to COVID-19 continue to rise. The mask mandate goes into effect today June 26 at 5 p.m.
